Abdul Rahman Chapra's dream came true when the school came into existence in 1958. His contributions started when he became the General Secretary of the school in 1962. The School ran on a limited budget and donations from the Memon community. Mr. Chapra started working diligently to acquire more funds and concentrated on providing Islamic education for children, boys and girls. Contributions started pouring in and he kept the children busy acquiring good education. Games were fun and children started taking part in extra curricular activities. His aim to keep children busy was to keep them away from Karachi's bad activities in the neighborhood. Students were encouraged to take part in Swimming, Cricket, Hockey and other games even during week ends. There were trips for Swimming to Military Swimming pool for Saturdays and Sundays.
